As a writer, I’ve found that real life events provide the greatest inspiration for a good story, which is why I love contributing to the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. I’ve written about how I met my husband, Scott; how we found out we were expecting our first child; how my late grandmother put her heart and soul into doing my hair the night before the first day of junior high, and much, much more.
